Hey Story Engine fans!

When I'm not working on The Story Engine, I moonlight as my webcomic alter ego Rock Paper Cynic. Hello Deck of Worlds backers!

I wanted to share 3 quick updates for those following my crowdfunding projects!

Early bird pricing on Lore Master's Deck

As you'll know from Deck of Worlds, I try to make sure my backers and early supporters get the best price on my decks. We're about to end the early supporter pricing on the new Lore Master's Deck and I just wanted to give existing backers a chance to get that pricing before it goes away.

ICYMI, The Story Engine: Lore Master's Deck is a new standalone deck of prompts for storytelling and worldbuilding. It helps you jumpstart the lore-crafting process by creating linked webs of characters, factions, events, locations, artifacts, trade resources and creatures.

Unlike Deck of Worlds, which focuses on mapping settings in geographical space and establishing an arc in time, Lore Master's Deck is all about prompting a rich tapestry of lore threads, connections, relationships and secrets that hold your story and world together.

I wanted to share one more update letting you know that the crowdfunding campaign for Lore Master's Deck ends in less than 30 hours.

This is now our biggest deck ever, loaded up with extra cards and resources from stretch goals and available at our best crowdfunding price with additional bundle discounts.

BUT THIS ISN'T EVEN OUR FINAL FORM.

We're about to unlock a free link token set with every main deck at the $450,000 stretch goal, and we're pushing for two final stretch goals with a free PDF outtakes expansion and quickstart prompt deck for every deck backer.

We could really use your help to make it happen.

As we head into the final week of our new BackerKit campaign for The Story Engine: Lore Master's Deck, I wanted to tell you about an exciting event happening today that you worldbuilding fans will likely enjoy!

At 2pm ET today we're hosting a livestream panel discussing how to create great tabletop RPG settings with game designer Connor Alexander (Coyote & Crow, Wolves) and artist Eren Angiolini (Critical Role, Justice League, Arcane Compendium of Characters)!

We'll take your questions in the chat and on our BackerKit discussion page.

Reminder: Free bonus pin for returning backers

As a campaign exclusive, we're offering a free Story Engine logo pin for every backer from a previous campaign who pledges Lore Master's Deck before the campaign ends at 11:59pm ET on Friday July 21. You just need to back using the same email address associated with your BackerKit account (i.e., the email you received your BackerKit reward survey at).

The Lore Master's Deck itself we're offering at a special crowdfunding-only price during the campaign. The deck has gained an extra 32 cards through stretch goals, and after the campaign we'll be increasing the pricing to reflect this.

We've also released a new stretch goal for a PDF of 60 "lost lore" outtake cards if 500 backers help share our campaign link in the next 5 days.
